Taquen junto a Espacio 75 ART GALLERY presenta la exposición SOLILOQUIO, un proyecto concebido como una narración en tres fases, que introduce al público en un proceso personal transitado por el artista a lo largo de los últimos años. La propuesta expositiva cargada de simbolismo se apropia del espacio construyendo a través imágenes sobre lienzo, dibujos, serigrafÍas y piezas cerámicas un “camino” hacia el reencuentro y el volver a ser. /
Taquen together with Espacio 75 ART GALLERY presents the exhibition SOLILOQUIO, a project conceived as a narrative in three phases, which introduces the public to a personal process undergone by the artist over the last few years. The exhibition proposal loaded with symbolism appropriates the space, building through images on canvas, drawings, silkscreens and ceramic pieces a “path” towards reunion and becoming again.
“Los últimos años de profundas vivencias han ido generando un proceso de inflexión en mi vida. Convirtiendo este recorrido en un reflejo que puede leerse a través del propio proceso creativo. Imágenes de un camino personal compartido en tres fases. Un viaje que comienza en el individuo, en el yo, marcado por la soledad, la tensión y el miedo.
Un punto detonante provocado por el ritmo, la inmediatez, la autoexigencia, el estrés, la ansiedad, y la falta de confianza en mí mismo. Cuyo inevitable desenlace fue una pérdida total de vitalidad, de motivación y de disfrute. Un proceso doloroso que culmina en un vértice caótico y crítico, para dar paso a la aceptación de la vulnerabilidad.
Una toma de consciencia que me implicó la necesidad de parar, reflexionar y retomar un camino más amable y más flexible. Una salida consciente (no sin cicatrices), social y compartida. Un reencuentro y un equilibrio. Todo ello ha generado en mí una nueva perspectiva ligada al presente y al entorno, representado artísticamente en la unión y diálogo entre el arte y la artesanía. Un gesto de gratitud y respeto donde el individuo aprende a construirse desde el otro, desde el aquí y ahora.”
“The last few years of profound experiences have generated a turning point in my life. Converting this journey into a reflection that can be read through the creative process itself. Images of a personal path shared in three phases. A journey that begins in the individual, in the self, marked by loneliness, tension and fear. A triggering point caused by rhythm, immediacy, self-demand, stress, anxiety, and lack of confidence in myself same. The inevitable outcome of which was a total loss of vitality, motivation and enjoyment. A painful process that culminates in a chaotic and critical vertex, to give way to the acceptance of vulnerability.
An awareness that implied the need to stop, reflect and return to a kinder and more flexible path. A conscious exit (not without scars), social and shared. A reunion and a balance. All of this has generated in me a new perspective linked to the present and the environment, artistically represented in the union and dialogue between art and crafts. A gesture of gratitude and respect where the individual learns to build himself from the other, from the here and now.”

Además, cuando comenzamos a plantear la exposición surgió la idea y la posibilidad de poder sacarla a la calle, de donde todo procede. Gracias a la financiación y apoyo de F8 Arquitecturas y a los vecinos y vecinas de la Guindalera pudimos gestionar y realizar este mural en la fachada contigua a la galería. La obra es una continuación y un cierre a Soliloquio, un pedazo de esta exposición que podrá seguir visitándose más allá del 8 de diciembre de 2023.
Furthermore, when we began to plan the exhibition, the idea and the possibility of being able to take it to the streets arose, where everything comes from. Thanks to the financing and support of F8 Arquitecturas and the residents of Guindalera, we were able to manage and create this mural on the façade adjacent to the gallery. The work is a continuation and closing of Soliloquio, a piece of this exhibition that can continue to be visited beyond December 8 de 2023.
Después de todo, tremendamente agradecido a Pablo y Gema de Espacio75 por la confianza y el trabajo. A todas las personas que acudieron a visitar la exposición o el mural mientras estaba trabajando y sus buenas palabras.
